Ricardo Pistola

Ricardo Pistola was born in 1980, lives and works in Porto. He has a degree in Plastic Arts – Painting, a Master in Art Education and a PhD in Art Education from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
Since 2001, regularly presents work in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and institutional spaces, being represented in several public and private collections.
His work is mainly in the area of painting and drawing, but also finds a strong expression in three-dimensional pieces and installations. Of the artistic residency programmes in which he has participated, the most recent – Estação Vernadsky – at the Sines Arts Centre – stands out.
At the same time, he works in partnership with Viarco in the development of drawing materials, where he develops workshops in the area of drawing.

Apartamento Massarelos I
This is a beautiful holiday apartment and is located on the corner of the Rua da Restauração and the garden. It has an ample and luminous living room with a kitchenette, with windows and a balcony opening out onto Rua da Restauração and the main gardens. The windows being open to the light of midday and the evening mean that the apartment is luminous, while the views onto the gardens add to its charm. The wooden flooring provides both warmth and comfort.
