Fifteen apartments in a historic building in the Massarelos district, standing between the Douro river and the gardens of the Palácio de Cristal and the Museu Romântico, on the famous Rua da Restauração. This is a quiet area, far from the hustle and bustle of the old town centre, but just 15 minutes on foot from some of the most emblematic sites in the city: the Ribeira, the Torre dos Clérigos and the Palácio de Cristal. MASSARELOS HOUSE is the ideal location for spending your self-catering holidays in Porto, relaxing and enjoying the attractions of this city located at the mouth of the Douro on the Atlantic Ocean.
Following a loving process of renovation, the four XIXth century buildings – which were in ruins when they came to us – experienced a renaissance together with their gardens, linking modernity to the character of the architecture of Porto.
The buildings stand around a landscaped courtyard and open onto the streets of Restauração and Entre Quintas, to provide a garden-terrace that is ideal for relaxing in the shade to the playing of the water in the fountains and the pond after a day out discovering the city.
The loving work of designing the interiors drew on the British legacy of the wine capital that is Porto, adding to it the contemporary art of national artists with a varied selection of earthenware from the factories that flourished in the city between the XVIIIth century and the middle of the 20th. Our holiday apartments available for rent bear the names of these factories, each of them host to items from the factory that give it its name.

Holiday rentals in the city of Porto with daily cleaning and breakfast included, on-site support and all of the comfort that the traveller could wish for.
All of the holiday apartments are rented by the day and are cleaned daily with the fresh produce for breakfast also supplied daily. In case of longer-term stays, bedclothes and bathroom supplies are replaced on a weekly basis.
The building has a lift, free Wi-Fi, a common laundry area and doors with security locks.
Baby cots and television sets are available for installation in the holiday apartments on request at no further cost.
