SOBRE LA FÁBRICA
Created in 1824 by the Nunes da Cunha family it was in a house adjacent to the Convent da Serra do Pilar in Gaia. It was specialized in the production of faience and tiles. In 1826 the factory moved to a Mesquita taking the name of Fervença. In 1858 it was demolished in part and shut down due to fact that the new road Rua General Torres crossed Gaia across it to link Porto with the Dom Luis I Bridge.
